CSOC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Program Philosophy Statement
To carry out our commitment to the Honorary Members of the association, County Sheriffs of Colorado (CSOC) established a scholarship program in 1978. Since then, this effort has continued as a meaningful expression of the sheriffs’ confidence in and respect for education and training. CSOC considers this an investment in the future and believes that our membership is helping to provide deserving students with an opportunity to make a positive contribution to society as a whole.
County Sheriffs of Colorado, through its honorary membership program, awards approximately thirty $500 scholarships every academic school year.
Eligibility
This year, each Sheriff’s Office on the even-numbered year list will accept scholarship applications through February 23, 2018, for awards applicable to the Fall 2018/Spring 2019 academic year.
